David Lee has been Assistant Editor of The Scotsman for five years and edits its specialist professional pages - Law & Legal Affairs, Education, Medical Matters, Media & Marketing and Government & Public Affairs. He has broadened his remit by writing an irreverent column every Monday, compiling the daily diary and editing the successful Recommends section every Wednesday.

David was responsible for developing and expanding The Scotsman’s legal coverage, widely praised for its breadth, accuracy and relevance. He has been involved in promoting the Scottish Legal Awards for five years. This is his third year as a judge.
